Dear Jesus, do I have some news! I'm still shaking by it and feeling so damn homesick! What am I talking about? Well, last Saturday was the Chibicon! It's the first anime con I went too, I seriously can't remember why I haven't been to one much, much sooner!
~hippiemaster and my sister Nienke joined me! My sister couldn't stop glomping everyone in cosplay outfit.
At the con I also finally met my fellow fangirl, who I've been emailing with for like half a year! She is sooo much fun! Well, I am not gonna tell you with everything that has happened there, 'cus that would bore you people.
But damn, I was extremely impressed! I mean, the atmosphere there was so amazing! Everybody was extremely friendly and helped each other with stuff when needed. Everybody was hugging each other (due to the fact that some people where walking with "free (group) hugs" signs ). Even when the "Pokemon theme song" was up on the speakers down at the karaoke stage everybody just ran towards it and sang! We were with at east 20 people there singing! Nobody looked weird at each other, and everybody was so enjoying themselves! It really has something, a meeting with people with the same interests, because you understand everybody so damn easily! You don't even have to hide the fact that you like anime (not that I did, 'cus I'm a proud of it. ), since most people in the Netherlands think you're crazy if you do. And the merchandise! My vision was filled with Naruto everywhere! I bought two little figurines of Sasuke and Naruto in their Konoha Gakuen Den outfit. Also, I bought 3 mangas, a Naruto poster and figurine of Lust (FMA).
In short: I ab-so-lute-ly loved it! I know for sure that I am going to every possible con in the Netherlands (which aren't that many
). Next up: Abunai con in September!
